Client: Peachylean
I chose social media as part of my applied activities owing to my client’s suggestions
and mutual discussion regarding the brand’s interest in exploring the idea of reels and posting
them to increase brand awareness.
Also, I used Peachylean’s Instagram platform to support
other applied activities, such as social commerce and blogging and promote the
survey used in primary research. I was responsible for the following activities:
- Promotional posts for blogs posted on the brand’s website were created using Canva and Photoshop.
- The survey used in the primary research of the practicum was promoted on the brand’s Instagram stories with a swipe’ link and an offer to get 10% off if they completed the survey.
- Reels and creative posts resonated with the brand’s image of self-love, confidence, body positivity, etc. The reels posted on Instagram revolved around three themes: self-love reels, styling/fashion reels, and legging promotional reels.
Results
- In line with our objective to increase brand awareness for Peachylean, we increased their follower rate by 0.3%.
- In addition, it was observed that the carousel images used to promote blogs contributed to high interactivity insights with interactions of 64 and 54 compared to a single image post that produced an interaction of 9.
- Finally, there was an increase in Reels interactivity rate of 628%.
